Message to Our Customers and Vendors Regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

With the recent emergence of COVID-19, a strain of Coronavirus, around the world, the team at CentricsIT has been actively monitoring its impact. The health of our partners, employees, and customers is our priority. On behalf of all CentricsIT employees, our thoughts are with those impacted by the virus, and we are committed to doing our part to ensure that it is contained soon.

In accordance with the CentricsIT Crisis Communications Plan, key internal leaders and stakeholders met on Thursday, March 5 to enact a measured and appropriate risk mitigation strategy. Our plan prioritizes public safety while working to minimize impact to operations and service delivery. This internal team will continue to meet regularly and communicate any policy updates via e-mail as needed.

Impact to CentricsIT Operations and Service Delivery Employees

CentricsIT continues to operate at or near 100% efficacy. Our systems are cloud-based and accessible from anywhere 24x7x365, which gives employees the option to telecommute if needed. However, we anticipate delays in our supply chain due to the virus’ global impact. We are working to proactively address any individual customer concerns related to this outbreak.

Any employee exhibiting flu-like symptoms will not be allowed in the office. Disinfectant and sanitization supplies are being made available to all employees in the office.

Impact to CentricsIT Global Field Engineers

CentricsIT cannot guarantee any member of our Field Engineering team to test negatively as a carrier of COVID-19. However, we have taken several precautionary steps to ensure a mindful, responsible approach to client site visits throughout the duration of this outbreak.

CentricsIT Field Engineers have been asked to notify CentricsIT if they have traveled recently or have been in close contact with someone who has been traveling to any area where there is an active outbreak of the COVID-19, notably China, South Korea, and Italy. Extra measures are being taken when servicing clients located in heavily impacted areas, and we anticipate delays in the supply chain.

Field Engineers are being asked to avoid public ground transportation and opt instead for car rental or private car service when travelling to customer sites.

Any Field Engineer showing flu-like symptoms will not be permitted on client sites, and he or she must notify a CentricsIT representative immediately upon feeling ill.

CentricsIT cannot be held responsible for Field Engineer visits where the individual customer locations have reduced or deny access to outside parties. These will be dealt with on a case by case bases.

Any employee exhibiting flu-like symptoms will not be allowed in the office. Disinfectant and sanitization supplies are being made available to all employees in the office.

CentricsIT does not require that its employees or subcontractor personnel be vaccinated from COVID-19 at this time. If vaccinated CentricsIT personnel are required by specific Client for onsite services, Client shall inform CentricsIT in writing of such requirement in detail (preferably in the SOW) and CentricsIT will review the request on a case by case basis and provide a feasibility response which could impact personnel availability, lead times and costs. Client shall be responsible for checking such personnel’s vaccination card before allowing such person to enter the premises. CentricsIT makes no warranty as to the validity, truth or completeness of any vaccination card presented to the client or whether such person has, in fact, been vaccinated from COVID-19.

Tips for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19

Below are the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended practices:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

Thank you for your urgent attention to this. If you believe your project is being impacted by this in any way, please let your point of contact at CentricsIT know.
